Welcome to 54.
If you're new to Malaysian food, an old hand or just a bit homesick and want the true taste of home then 54 is the place for you. Our food is truly Malaysian - Malay, Nonya Chinese, Mamak Indian, Eurasian and of course some British food too (because we go back a long way together)!
In true Malaysian style 54 is relaxed, friendly, and unhurried. Sometimes it's calm and Zen-like and other times its full of excitement and buzz.

We use free-range meat, poultry and eggs. Nothing caged

white market fish simmered in a mild aromatic curry, tomato & okra

Rendang daging
dry beef curry slow cooked in kerisik, coconut milk, galangal & chili

Masak Lemak Udang
large prawns cooked yellow coconut curry, tamarind & daun kunyit

Ayam Masak Kicap
prime corn-fed free-range chicken breast in thick soy & ginger

Stirfried noodles V
rice or egg noodles seasonal Malaysian vegetables

Dhal & vegetable curry V
dhal with seasonal Malaysian vegetables
